Key takeaways
- Kixie’s pricing page has no prices; Aloware reported quotes of about $95, $145 and $185 per user a month for its three plans.
- Rapidialer is $5 per seat a month or $49 per seat a year, and Twilio bills calls separately on your own account.
- Five reps at about 1,000 billed minutes each come to roughly $133 a month on Rapidialer with Twilio usage, against about $725 on Kixie’s reported Single-Line PowerDialer price.
- Rapidialer has two-way SMS and logs calls on HubSpot contacts, but no multi-line dialing and no native connector for other CRMs.
- Kixie’s trial lasts 7 days; Rapidialer’s lasts 14 days with one seat and no credit card.
Why teams look for alternatives to Kixie
- Kixie does not publish its prices, so teams have to book a sales call before they can budget.
- Reported quotes for its PowerDialer plans are high for small teams that only need single-line calling.
- Teams that already pay Twilio want to keep their own numbers and per-minute billing instead of moving to a bundled plan.

Which one fits your team
Choose Rapidialer if
- You want to know the price before you talk to sales: $5 per seat, monthly or yearly.
- Single-line power dialing is what your reps need, and you want every call to start with a rep who is ready.
- You already use Twilio, or want your numbers and recordings in an account you own.
Stay with Kixie if
- You want multi-line power dialing that rings several numbers per rep.
- You need calls logged natively in Salesforce or another CRM other than HubSpot, without building a webhook or API flow.
- Your team would rather not run its own Twilio account.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Kixie for single-line calling?
Yes, if single-line dialing is all your reps use. Kixie quotes its plans per team, and the reported figures start around $95 per user a month; the pricing guide linked above breaks down each plan and the add-ons to ask about. Rapidialer’s price is on its pricing page: $5 per seat per month or $49 per seat per year, and Twilio bills your calls separately at its published per-minute rates.
The saving comes from not paying for features you would switch off. Texting is no longer one of them, since two-way SMS is part of every Rapidialer seat, but a team that relies on multi-line dialing is not comparing like with like, so check the “Who should stay with Kixie?” section below before you plan a move.
What does Kixie do that Rapidialer does not?
Kixie still does two things Rapidialer leaves out: multi-line power dialing, and a longer list of native CRM integrations, Salesforce among them. Rapidialer’s only native CRM is HubSpot; other tools connect through its signed webhooks or REST API. For Kixie next to another bundled dialer, see Kixie vs PhoneBurner. Rapidialer is narrower on purpose, built around one-at-a-time power dialing for teams that want a fast list workflow on their own Twilio account.
What changes for your reps
Teams moving from Kixie to Rapidialer notice three changes.
- One line at a time. Rapidialer has no multi-line mode; each call starts when the rep is ready, with the contact’s record and script on screen.
- CRM logging depends on the CRM. On HubSpot, each call is logged on the contact automatically. For Salesforce or another CRM, send call events through a signed webhook to Zapier, Make or n8n, use the REST API, or export call history as CSV.
- Texts live in a Messages inbox. Reps text from templates, replies arrive in the inbox, STOP and START are honored, and a missed call can trigger an automatic text-back.
Is there a Kixie alternative with month-to-month billing?
Rapidialer bills per seat, monthly or yearly, with no long contract: seat changes are prorated, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. That makes it a power dialer with no contract to wait out if your team shrinks or a campaign ends.
Kixie works on a contract term. Its help center says the term starts on the date of your first subscription payment, that licenses can only be downgraded or removed in the last 30 days of that term, and that annual billing gives no refunds or credits for user changes made mid-cycle (Kixie support). Before you switch, find your term end date in your Kixie agreement, because that date, not the day you finish setup, decides when you stop paying for Kixie seats.
Can you keep your Kixie numbers when you switch?
Only if Kixie will release them. Rapidialer calls from numbers that live in your Twilio account, so a number you use on Kixie has to be ported to Twilio first. Ask Kixie in writing whether each number can be ported out and what it needs from you, start the port before your Kixie term ends, and keep dialing on Kixie until Twilio confirms the move.
There is no shortcut through caller ID verification. Twilio lets you verify a number you own elsewhere as a caller ID, but Rapidialer cannot use Twilio Verified Caller IDs: it only syncs numbers bought in, or ported into, the Twilio account. Numbers you cannot port are replaced by new local numbers at $1.15 a month each.
How do you move from Kixie to Rapidialer?
Plan on one afternoon for setup and one week of side-by-side dialing. The order below keeps opt-outs safe and stops anyone from calling a contact twice.
- Connect Twilio first. An owner opens Telephony, pastes the Account SID and Auth Token and chooses Save & provision. If you see “No Twilio phone numbers were found in this account”, buy a number in Twilio and try again.
- Assign lines. Each synced number can belong to one rep on the Team page; local presence then picks the number with the lead’s area code and falls back to that line.
- Import one list per source. The import preview counts bad or missing phones, duplicate rows and contacts already on Do Not Call before you commit the file.
- Turn on dialing rules. Retries start at 3 attempts, with No answer back after 4 hours and Voicemail after 24 hours, and you can change both.
Carry your opt-outs and dispositions across
Two things are easy to lose in a switch: the people who asked not to be called, and the meaning of your old dispositions. Export your opt-outs first. In Rapidialer, an owner or admin opens Dialing settings and uses Import CSV on the Do Not Call tab; it reads the first cell on each row that looks like a phone number, so a plain export works. Those numbers join your internal Do Not Call list, and outbound calls to them are blocked.
Then list the dispositions your reps use in Kixie and rebuild them as outcome buttons. You can have up to 20, and each one maps to one of eight standard outcomes, such as Connected or Callback, so reports stay comparable. A button can also move the lead to a pipeline stage when it is clicked.
Who should stay with Kixie?
Stay with Kixie if multi-line dialing or a native Salesforce connection is part of your daily process. That means reps who get through large, low-answer lists on several lines, or managers who expect every call in a CRM other than HubSpot without a webhook or API step. Rapidialer does neither, and a lower seat price will not make up for a process you would have to rebuild.
Kixie is also simpler if nobody on your team wants to look after a Twilio account. With Rapidialer, you buy numbers in Twilio, upgrade from a trial before calling leads (trial limits), and watch Twilio’s bill, which can include a surcharge on unanswered and very short calls (Twilio terms).
Moving from Kixie to Rapidialer
Export lists and contacts
Export the contacts you still need to call from Kixie or your CRM as CSV.
Prepare Twilio
Set up a Twilio account with local numbers in your main area codes, or connect your own Twilio account if you already have one. An owner or admin pastes the Account SID and Auth Token in Telephony settings and chooses Save & provision.
Rebuild your call flow
Import lists, create outcome buttons that match your current dispositions, and paste your openers into talk tracks. Give each list its own calling hours and retry rules, since there is no multi-line mode to push volume.
Check the first week
After a week, open the team analytics to compare reached contacts, talk time and callbacks set per agent with what you saw in Kixie.
What you get in Rapidialer

Kixie alternative: questions and answers
What are the main Kixie competitors?
Kixie competitors fall into two groups. Bundled dialers such as PhoneBurner, JustCall and Aircall sell seats with their own calling plans; PhoneBurner is the closest like-for-like dialer of that kind. Bring-your-own-Twilio tools such as Rapidialer charge a seat price and let Twilio bill minutes on your account, which suits teams that already pay Twilio.
When should I start moving off Kixie?
Start a Kixie to Rapidialer move about 30 days before your Kixie term ends. Kixie’s help center says licenses can only be downgraded or deleted in the last 30 days of the term, so that window is when you can shrink seats as reps move over. Rapidialer bills monthly or yearly per seat, and cancelling it takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Does Rapidialer have a multi-line dialer like Kixie?
No. Rapidialer dials one contact per rep at a time, after the rep logs an outcome and a 5-second countdown runs; the rep can cancel, skip or dial at once. Because it never rings two people for one rep, nobody who answers is dropped. Teams that need several lines per rep on low-answer lists should stay with Kixie’s Multi-Line PowerDialer.
Can Rapidialer send texts?
Yes. Rapidialer has two-way SMS from your Twilio numbers, with templates, STOP and START opt-out handling, a Messages inbox and missed-call text-back, and cadences can mix text steps with calls. It does not send email: email steps and follow-ups are reminders that open in your own mail app.
Can I keep using my Twilio account with Kixie?
Kixie does not advertise a bring-your-own-Twilio option, so moving to Kixie usually means using its own numbers and calling plans. Rapidialer runs on the Twilio account you already have: it syncs up to 200 of the account’s numbers, and Twilio keeps billing your minutes, numbers and recordings directly at its published rates.
How do I get Rapidialer calls into my CRM?
On HubSpot, automatically: Rapidialer logs each call on the matching HubSpot contact and can import HubSpot contacts into lists. For other CRMs, point a signed outbound webhook at Zapier, Make or n8n, or call the REST API with an API key. The Export CSV button in call history remains for one-off imports.
Does Rapidialer have local presence like Kixie?
Yes, using numbers you own in Twilio. With local presence on, each call goes out from your number with the lead’s area code, and from the rep’s own line when you have no match. Each extra number costs $1.15 a month at Twilio’s published rate.
How long does a Kixie to Rapidialer switch take?
A Kixie to Rapidialer switch takes about an afternoon of setup if your Twilio account is already upgraded: connect Twilio, import your do-not-call export, import lists and rebuild outcome buttons. Run one or two reps in Rapidialer for a week before moving everyone.
